Hi all! I didn’t do a lot of Web surfing while I was away (that IS the point, right?) so this will be a short-n-sweet ETTGPro.
- Got extra plants? The Greentopia Festival is looking for donation of flats of annuals in order to make a 4 x 8 foor promotional sign. If you can help, please reply to this email.

- Here’s a basic but good guide to facebook for business from the Garden Media Group. Best tip: Pinning and expanding posts, things I always forget you can do.
- I was a judge at the container competition at Cornell’s Bluegrass Lane Field Day yesterday. Always a great time, and there were rave reviews of the programs. I hope to be able to announce the winners in the next issue. Below, one of the judges’ favorite containers. It’s a memorial arrangement where the plants stay in the pots. After the service it can be disassembled and the plants permanently installed. Very sweet.
- I’m reluctant to watch this, because a. I don’t want anyone in the office to overhear and b. I’m afraid it might trigger traumatizing memories from my high school reunion last weekend (there was a moose!). It’s gotten good reviews, so here you have it: 9 year old farmer sings “Farm It Maybe” on YouTube.
