The WNYSNLA annual dinner was really fun, and it was at the wonderful Statler City, which just recently re-opened after quite a few years (or so I hear). Awards went to Neil Stern of Gernatt Sand & Gravel and Buffalo Spree for their service to the association in 2012. You can read all about that here.
Unilock hosted a swell gathering last week with and at Miller Brick for the local chapter of the ASLA. Dave McIntynre invited me, Christine Froehlich, and Milli Piccione to come and talk about the Rochester Civic Garden Center, which was great, because we would love to have a lot more members who are industry professionals. Check out the RCGC here. Dave also brought enough real glass wine glasses for the entire event—from home. When quizzed about this, he said, “I know, it’s weird, because we never have parties.” Right.
