Education Days are here again! Here’s a brief list of what’s happening in each region:

Region 1:
Thursday, Feb. 19, 8:30 am – Friday, Feb. 20, 4:30 pm
H.O. Penn, 660 Union Ave., Holtsville
Highlights:
Attendees at LINLA’s Building a Better Landscape Business Workshop will receive a sales and expense plan built specifically for your company, an estimating and pricing system, efficiency benchmarks, estimating and job planning methods, and more.

Highlights:

Highlights:
Speakers include Allan Armitage, emeritus professor University of Georgia; Rich Buckley, Coordinator Plant Diagnostic Laboratory, Rutgers University; Bill Deacon, Manager of Field Operations, NY Mets; and Christine Froehlich, executive director of the Rochester Civic Garden Center.

Highlights:
Michael A. Dirr, retired professor of horticulture, University of Georgia, delivers the keynote speech, “In Praise of Noble Trees,” and presents “The Sun Never Sets on New Plant Introductions: The Ever-Changing World of Flowering and Evergreen Shrubs.”

Get certified

If you’re interested in becoming a Certified Nursery and Landscape Professional , there’s still time to get your application in. Review sessions and exam dates are being scheduled around the state now.

If you’ve been a CNLP for nine consecutive years, you’re eligible to pursue Senior CNLP status by retaking the CNLP exam.
